ABOUT STEVENAGE ABC
Situated in the heart of the Broadwater community, Stevenage Boxing Club continues to create champions year on year. Offering boxing training for Juniors and Seniors wishing to box competitively.

Children and young people, who participate in our sessions and events, can expect a safe and positive experience. All of our coaches have been trained to a high standard through England Boxing Association coaching courses.

Boxing is a dynamic form of exercise that has many social, physical and mental well-being benefits. It provides a positive alternative to aggressive or anti-social behaviour.

It needs to be said that Boxing is not for everyone. It is a tough, physically demanding and challenging sport that requires a level of dedication and commitment not seen is other sports. Anyone learning boxing will be expected to undertake partner-work and sparring that focusses on punches being thrown to both the head and the body.
Whilst the coaches primary objective is the welfare of all our boxers, it should be pointed out that the objective of boxing is to punch your opponent with sufficient force to the target area.
Please speak to one of the club coaches if you have any concerns or wish to understand more about boxing, boxing training and the activities undertaken to prepare a boxer for competition
