TRAINING
Boxing training consists of numerous activities designed to prepare a boxer for competition. Activities will include fitness and flexibility drills, technical drills, bag work, pad work, partner work, sparring and running.

In order to be well prepared for competition, boxers are expected to attend the gym three times per week on a regular basis and undertake the running activities in their own time.
Once an appropriate level of technical ability and fitness is achieved, boxers are expected to register with England Boxing and participate in club competitions and, possibly, national competitions.
Boxers are expected to win with dignity and lose with respect.
Whether a boxer wins, loses or draws all we ask is that that perform at their best. Every win is a bonus and every loss is an opportunity to learn and
progress.
